From the coldest conditions to the warmest waters, there’s a wetsuit to help all riders perform at their peak no matter the setting.

Neoprene

To better help understand the Mystic range, it is essential to understand the various neoprene utilised in the wetsuits.

MX4 Yamamoto 39

Mystic’s top-tier neoprene, offering exceptional stretch characteristics, unrivalled insulation and increased abrasion resistance, due to unique properties such as a high independent closed-cell ratio and ultimate low elastic modulus.

Produced predominantly from Yamamoto limestone excavated and processed on-site in Osaka-based quarries that utilise 100% renewably sourced electricity, this neoprene produces a significantly smaller environmental footprint than any other conventional neoprene.

MX3 Foam

Until recently, Mystic’s highest-grade material with superior flexibility and stretch that is designed to be even softer and lighter than MX2 whilst retaining the same great insulation and resilience.

MX2 Foam

A premium closed-cell neoprene built with durability and rebound in mind, delivering impressive stretch and flexibility for an enhanced range of motion.

Inner Linings

Depending on the wetsuit, a different combination of linings can be used to help determine the overall flexibility, warmth, comfort and drying time.

Flaremesh+

With a uniquely designed geometry that Pythagoras would be proud of.

This high pile, woven with carbon, provides incredible insulation properties that trap in warmth and channel water away for dramatically quick drying. Lastly, Flaremesh+ offers a superior soft-feeling texture now with a slightly shorter cut for improved comfort.

Fox Fleece

With a soft yet durable texture and superior capacity for multi-directional stretch, structured around bigger loops creating a more extruded pile, this raised surface not only provides great insulation by holding a layer of air but by holding less water also allows for a much faster drying time.

Eco XTR Lining

A thermal retention layer placed on the inside of the wetsuit to help maintain body warmth and provide additional comfort.

Additional Features

Mystic have developed many unique features that are incorporated into the wetsuits, and it is worth having an understanding of the different benefits they can offer.

Waterproof Stretch Taping

A durable taping utilised inside the suit to ensure flexibility and durability, minimise leaking and retain warmth. Depending on the wetsuit, Mystic apply this taping on either 100%, 50% or on critical high wear areas of the seams.

Junction Taping

Additional taping on seam junctions to prolong the durability of the Mystic neoprene products.

Glued Blind Stitched

A method of joining sections of neoprene whereby the individual panels are glued together first and then only stitched halfway through instead of fully perforating the material to ensure the waterproofing of the seams.

Flatlock Stitching

Neoprene panels are placed together with a slight overlap then a wide stitch creates a strong connection; however, more water will penetrate the wetsuit when compared to GBS.

Wind Mesh Panel

A closed-cell neoprene with one side of fabric lamination, meaning the outside layer is sealed from the elements offering excellent protection from the adverse effects of the wind chill.

Aquabarrier

A printed silicone section placed on the collarbone area of the wetsuit to create a barrier where sections of neoprene overlap to prevent excess water from entering.

Overhead Backup Shield

Found on all Mystic Back-zip wetsuits, this additional internal back panel fits around the neck and prevents water from entering through the zip.

AquaFlush 2.0

An improved structure designed to better encourage water to exit the wetsuit whilst not allowing it to penetrate the wetsuit from the outside.

AquaFlush

Intentionally perforated neoprene patches placed on the calves to minimise any build-up of water by allowing it to more easily exit the wetsuit.

Non Slip Cuffs

Mystic’s Wetsuit Collection

As previously mentioned, Mystic offer an extensive range of wetsuits available for both men and women, to suit all levels and requirements.

By combining the neoprenes and features already outlined, the wetsuits detailed below each prioritise a different characteristic that different riders look for. These characteristics include warmth, mobility or even price, but Mystic still ensures a premium level of performance throughout the entire range.

Voltt / Gem Series

The jewel in the crown of Mystic’s wetsuit collection; the Voltt and Gem wetsuits for men and women respectively.

Designed for charging the coldest conditions and keeping the session going no matter what.

Developed due to a lack of progression in cold-water wetsuits, whether being frozen by windchill or disappointed in the lack of mobility offered by bulky neoprene suits, the Mystic team overcame those challenges head on.

Utilising environmentally friendly MX4 Yamamoto 39 neoprene in three different thicknesses to best trap heat without affecting mobility, combined with Wind Mesh Panels on the back and chest to keep the harsh elements out.

Glued Blind Stitching reinforced with 100% Waterproof Stretch Taping and Aquabarrier ensures minimal water entry.

Internally, Flaremesh+ throughout the chest, back and lower body with Fox Fleece in all remaining panels, the Voltt and Gem wetsuits let riders get on the water in the most challenging of conditions.

Both available in models with or without a fixed hood (lined with Flaremesh+).

We recommend pairing them with the Mystic Supreme gloves and boots for the ultimate cold-water defence, thanks to 100% liquid seams, Wind Mesh panels and Flaremesh+ lining.

Majestic / Jayde Series

High-end wetsuits built to bridge the gap between hyper-flexible and ultra-warm.

Built entirely from MX4 Yamamoto 39 neoprene for its combined mobility and heat retention properties, with Wind Mesh panels to reduce wind chill.

Flaremesh+ in key panels of the torso and Fox Fleece in the lower body ensure the core remains warm, whilst also channelling excess water to be removed via AquaFlush 2.0.

Aquabarrier works in unison with the 100% Waterproof Taping and GBS to keep the suit sealed.

Strategic panelling in the arms and legs alongside features such as the Back Knee Emboss ensures comfort and maximum freedom of movement.

The Mystic Majestic and Jayde wetsuits are admired and adored by pros and casual riders alike for their use of high-end features and premium construction.

The One Series

Dedicated to comfort and flexibility, the One Series wetsuits are made from super-flexible MX4 Yamamoto 39 with Fox Fleece lining on the chest and back to retain warmth where it’s needed most.

Zipfree entry forms a tight seal which is combined with the ergonomically placed panels to allow for the maximum mobility found in a Mystic wetsuit.

Of course, still utilising many of the high-end features such as 100% Waterproof Taping and AquaFlush 2.0, as well as a unique key pocket that is hidden in the chest panel.

The One suits from Mystic are based around a stripped-back ideology that prioritises performance and movement without restriction.

Critically taped MX2 neoprene foam offers mobility and comfort whilst a Wind Mesh chest panel reduces wind chill.

Mystic’s Brand series is perfect for anyone looking to start their watersports journey.

Entry Systems

Many of the Mystic wetsuits come with multiple entry system options, and it is important to know the benefits of each.

Front Zip

A horizontal zipper across the chest that when closed creates a tight seal and allows for more mobility in the chest and back panels for easy movement.

Double Front Zip

Allows the wetsuit to open fully across the top, for an easier entry than a traditional front zip.

Back Zip

The traditional entry system that creates the widest opening to allow for the easiest access and removal of the wetsuit.

Zipfree

Unique panelling structure minimises water entry and grants the maximum level of mobility.

Wetsuit Sizing

When buying a new Mystic wetsuit, it is important to know how to size it properly.

Wetsuits are designed to fit tight to the body, but not so much that they restrict movement or press uncomfortably, as it is this tightness that allows the wetsuit to properly keep the wearer warm.

When trying on a new wetsuit, there shouldn’t be any pockets of air; key places to look are the small of the back, under the arms and the back of the knees.

Please use the size guides below to ensure the best fit possible.
